Jordan Grant Pedersen is a reasonably competent adult who dreams of one day becoming a fully competent film industry Set Designer. He loves uncommon and wacky architecture, science fiction, highly detailed world-building, photography, and fooling his coworkers into thinking he is useful.
After building film & television sets for a few years, Jordan's wife put him through technical school. Trained at the British Columbia Institute of Technology for Architectural Computer-aided Design & Drafting, Jordan was notable in his graduating year for being the oldest student in his program, as well on occasion for doing reasonably good work. Currently he works as a Set Designer in and around Vancouver, British Columbia where he lends his skills to whatever production he is working on.
Jordan was professionally trained to use AutoCAD, SketchUp & Revit, as well as how to manually draft by hand like a dinosaur. He has working knowledge of Photoshop, Lightroom, and other Adobe software. In an effort to stay current, he is also learning to use Rhino3D, Unreal Engine & Blender. As well, he embraces modern technologies such as augmented & virtual reality, 3D LiDAR scanning, and anything else that can improve his competencies.
If you find yourself in need of an over-eager Set Designer, Jordan is a great fit for any crew. Just so long as you can handle his sarcasm. If not, make him work remotely.
